Julio J. Lado was invited by the University of Salerno to give the lecture "Water-Energy-Food Nexus: The Role of Emerging Technologies in Sustainable Development"

Julio J. Lado, researcher from the Electrochemical Processes Unit of IMDEA Energy, was invited to visit the Department of Civil Engineering at University Salerno (Italy) for a stay of one week (from 16 to 21 September 2018) in the research group of Associated Professor Vincenzo Naddeo. This visit was funded by Erasmus + Program of the European Union. During his stay he gave a technical seminar to staff and students at Sanitary Environmental Engineering Division (SEED) focused on “Water-Energy-Food Nexus: The Role of Emerging Technologies in Sustainable Development”. During the above dates, in parallel to the technical visit, there were different meetings focused on future collaborative research activities between both research groups, including the exchange of students using the Erasmus + program.
