Short Bio:

Inés García Moreno studied Chemical Engineering at Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid (1998-2003) and received her Ph. D., focused on the synthesis and catalytic application of hierarchical zeolites, at the same university in 2009. Currently, she works as assistant lecturer in the Department Chemical and Energy Technology at Rey Juan Carlos University. During this time, she did a pre-doctoral stay, in 2007, at California Institute of Technology (USA) under the supervision of Prof. M. E. Davis and she was visiting researcher at Institute of Catalysis of Cardiff University (UK), under the supervision of Prof. G. Hutchings in 2010. Her current research is focused on the synthesis and catalytic application of zeolitic materials with hierarchical porosity, thermochemical processes based on the use of microwave radiation and production of 2nd Generation biofuels by deoxygenation of lignocellulosic biomass processes.
