Dr. Nicola Boaretto
Nicola Boaretto obtained a Master in Industrial Chemistry at the University of Padova in 2008, working on composite polymer electrolytes for fuel cells. In 2012 he moved to the Fraunhofer ISC of Würzburg where, still in collaboration with the University of Padova, he started a PhD on polymer electrolytes for lithium-metal batteries. After obtaining the PhD in 2016, he continued working at the Fraunhofer ISC as a postdoctoral researcher, collaborating in several public and industrial projects regarding lithium-metal and lithium-ion batteries. He joined the IMDEA Energy in 2018, where he is currently working on the development of structural lithium-ion batteries.
