LignoYeast: Lignocellulosic bioethanol production at high subtrate loading: developing yeast tolerant to mechanical stress

Research project corresponding to the call 2014 and reference: ENE2014-54912-R, within the State Program of Research, Development and Innovation Oriented Challenges of the Society under the National Plan for Scientific Research and Technological Innovation 2013-2016 (Research Challenges 2014).

The general objective of this project is to study and understand the effect that the mechanical stress together with the presence of inhibitors exerts on yeast performance at high substrate loadings.
