RESmart: Integration of renewable energy in the smart grid

Research project corresponding to the call 2013 and reference: ENE2013-48690-C2-2-R, within the State Program of Research, Development and Innovation Oriented Challenges of the Society under the National Plan for Scientific Research and Technological Innovation 2013-2016 (Research Challenges 2013).

The project has two main objectives. The first one is aimed at testing and improving methodologies and algorithms for planning and operation of smartgrids, when renewable resources are added and their contribution is significant. In this case, the uncertainty of the available resources increases dramatically, and its adequate modelling and impact deserves a detailed study not yet to be found in scientific literature.
