The IMDEA Energy Institute has actively participated in the Genera Fair with a presentation on the European SUN-to-LIQUID project, taking part in the Brokerage Event of the Enterprise Europe Network and in the activities of the Spanish Technology Platform on Energy Storage Batteryplat, as well as, with the presence of its researchers in various events.
The results of the European project SUN-to-LIQUID Fuels from concentrated sunlight whose objective is the production of kerosene for aviation using CO2 and water with the contribution of solar energy as the only energy source were presented by José González, Head of the High Temperature Processes Unit, at the HORIZON 2020 Informative Conference Safe, clean and efficient energy held on February 5th and organized by CDTI, the Fundación para el conocimiento Madri+d and Enterprise Europe Network, EEN.
In the brokerage event ‘energy and environment’ organized by EEN on February 5th and 6th, Félix Marín, responsible for Development and Technology Transfer, held exploratory project bilateral meetings with 9 companies, a business association and a university.
The Spanish Business Association of Batteries, Primary cells and Energy Storage, AEPIBAL, which holds the secretariat of the Spanish Technology Platform on Energy Storage Batteryplat, was present at the Fair with a stand. A bilateral meeting was held between Batteryplat and the Institute for Diversification and Energy Saving, IDAE, to inform of the activities of the platform, which participated in the event on energy storage organized by the IDAE with the intervention of Jesús Palma, Head of the Electrochemical Processes Unit of IMDEA Energy and Vice President of Batteryplat.
