On April 23rd, 24th and 25th, 2020, the ‘XI Feria Madrid es Ciencia 2020’ will be held at La Nave of Madrid organized by Fundación para el conocimiento Madri+d. As in previous editions, the IMDEA Institutes will actively participate with a stand in which various informative activities and live experiments will be carried out.
On Saturday 25th the IMDEA Energy Institute will show how its research projects contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs, and, in particular, to the objectives 7 Affordable and clean energy, 9 Industry, innovation and infrastructure, 11 Sustainable cities and communities, 12 Responsible consumption and production and 13 Climate action, carrying out four experimental activities:
- Solar installation to convert CO2 into kerosene. Virtual reality
- Batteries and conductive media
- The energy in our homes
- Energy in motion: the Stirling engine
