The proof of concept for the preparation of nanostructured Conjugated Porous Polymers, CPPs, has begun. Its objective is to facilitate its commercialization, developing preparation techniques environmentally friendly and scalable that allow to produce CPPs in a controlled, reproducible and profitable way.
The proof of concept is funded by the European project NanoCPPs, call H2020 ERC Proof of Concept Lump Sum Pilot Grant 2019.
CPPs can be used for a wide range of applications, including gas storage, catalysis and optoelectronics, due to their remarkable properties such as high micro- and mesoporosity, light harvesting, high conductivity, and great thermal, chemical and photo stability. Some of these materials are under patent ES2684052A1.
