Marta Liras Torrente, Senior Assistant Researcher at IMDEA Energy, is one of the members of the scientific committee of the XVII Symposium of Young Researchers of the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry (RSEQ).
The Young Chemical Researchers Group (JIQ) of the RSEQ is a fundamental element in the dissemination and support of Chemistry at a national level in the environment of early stage researchers, who are the future of research and the development of society. The objective of this congress is to encourage the dissemination of chemical research and promote relationships between young researchers, encouraging the exchange of ideas and collaborations between groups.
The XVII Symposium of Young Researchers RSEQ will take place in the auditorium of the Polytechnic School of the University of Alcalá from 23 to 26 November 2021.
The congress will feature invited lectures from the RSEQ Young Researchers Awards, as well as a large number of oral and flash presentations selected among the participants. The invited lectures will correspond to the winners of the eight RSEQ Young Researchers Awards in its two categories: "Group Leader" and "Postdoctoral Researcher".
Prof. Javier García Martínez, President of the Young Academy of Spain and President-elect of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) and a member of the editorial team of the journal Chemical Science, will also be present.
