The Ranking of World Scientists, elaborated by authors from Elsevier and Stanford University, includes in its latest update a total of ten researchers of the IMDEA Energy Institute among the 2% of the most influential scientists in the world in 2019.
This database incorporates and identifies about 160,000 top level scientists. The ranking is carried out through the combined analysis of a series of standardized parameters related to the impact of the indexed scientific publications. The ranking is available in open access through the link above indicated.
The IMDEA Energy researchers appearing in this ranking represent most of the Institute's disciplines: thermochemical processes, catalysis, electrochemical devices, electrical networks, biotechnology, advanced materials, concentrating solar energy and system analysis.
This achievement, together with the recent designation of IMDEA Energy as unit of excellence in the María de Maeztu program, represents an important recognition of the quality and relevance of the scientific contributions of our researchers.
