Alejandro is graduated in Physics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid since 2013. After, he studied a Master’s degree in Energy. His final project was “Design of a portable water treatment system renewable energy based”, in which he developed a water treatment system based in the method of evaporation and condensation.
In 2016 he started to work as Research Technician in LANAMAP research group (Lasers, nanostructures and materials processing), at the Instituto de Química-Física Rocasolano, Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). Two years later, in March 2018, he joined the High Temperature Processes Unit at IMDEA Energy as a predoctoral researcher. His research is focused on optical characterization techniques of heliostats and methods for pointing correction.
