Ana Díez Callau graduated in Chemical Engineering at the University of Zaragoza in 2015 and spent her last year at the Technical University of Denmark with an Erasmus + scholarship. She returned to the Technical University of Denmark in 2016, where she studied the Master of Science in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering.
Afterwards, she worked as bioprocess engineering at the company Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant, an innovative pilot plant in Ghent (Belgium), where her tasks were to develop and scale up fermentation processes.
In February of 2020, she joined the Biotechnological Unit of IMDEA Energy as researcher in training. At IMDEA, she works in the production of volatile fatty acids and biohydrogen from organic residues.
