Blanca Sáenz de Miera
Blanca Sáenz de Miera Aparicio owns a degree in Chemistry and a Master´s Degree in Chemical Sciences and Technologies from the Complutense University of Madrid. Her final degree project, carried out during an Erasmus+ scholarship in Adam Mickiewicz University, was “Application of dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction (DLLME) and liquid-liquid extraction (LLE) for chloronitrophenols in water by HPLC-UV”. Her final master project, performed in the CIEMAT, was “Mercury speciation in environmental solid samples applying hybrid separation and quantification techniques”. Professionally, she worked at the Autónoma Univeristy of Madrid with a contract in the research project “Treatment of wastewater by aqueous phase reforming (APR)”. Since March 2019 she is predoctoral researcher in the Thermochemical Processes Unit of IMDEA energy.
