Development and characterization of polymer electrolytes for supercapacitors
Short Bio: 

David Muñoz-Torrero Castaño finished his studies Technical Industrial Engineering Degree (Specialty in Chemical Engineering) accredited by the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM). His Final Project was “Gas-phase ammonia treatment by means of encapsulated ionic liquids in fixed-bed column.” It was developed in laboratories of UAM. After that, he completed a Master Degree entitled Energy and Fuels for the Future. His Final Master Project was titled  “Development and characterization of polymer electrolytes for supercapacitors”. This project was carried out in the laboratories of IMDEA Energy, Electrochemical Processes Unit.

He has professional experience in the design and fabrication of equipment for water treatment in TESACUA S.L. In February of 2015 David Muñoz-Torrero joined the Electrochemical Processes Unit IMDEA Energy as Researcher in training. Since December 2015 is Predoctoral Researcher in the same Unit.
