Diana Morán received her B.Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering (2014) from University of Valladolid. In 2014 she was awarded with the “Premio Extraordinario Final de Grado” prize to the most outstanding graduate of the promotion. She also received the M.Eng. degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Valladolid. She developed her Master´s degree Final Thesis, titled "An Object Oriented Approach for Robust Optimization of Delayed Systems" on the Chair of Automatic Control and Systems Theory of the Ruhr University Bochum (Germany). She has professional experience in the fields of transmission and distribution of electrical energy, acquired during her stays in Red Eléctrica de España (2017) and Boslan Ingeniería y Consultoría (2018) as a project engineer. She joined the Electrical Systems Unit of the IMDEA Energy institute in December 2018. Her main areas of interest are: modelling of electrical networks, microgrids and secondary control.
