Dr. Miguel Ángel Reyes
Miguel obtained his Mechanical Engineering degree in 2007 and his Master’s degree on Energetics in 2009 at the Universidad Politecnica de Valencia (Spain). In 2011, he earned his Master’s degree in Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engines at CMT-Motores Termicos (Spain) and in 2013 obtained his PhD in Mechanical Engineering with the highest qualifications (awarded Cum Laude) with the thesis Contribution to the Experimental Characterization and 1-D modelling of Turbochargers for IC Engines. From 2014 to 2015 Dr. Reyes worked as a Research Associate at Mechanical Engineering Department at Bath University (UK). Dr. Reyes has participated in several research projects with automotive leader companies such as Renault, PSA Peugeot-Citroen, Ford or Jaguar Land Rover. Miguel’s research has been focused on the improvement of turbocharger 1D and CFD modelling by developing several models able to predict accurately engine performance under realistic operative conditions (low loads, pulsating flow and heat transfer effects). His scientific work can be found in more than 20 scientific publications.
