Predoctoral Researcher
Production of lignocellulosic bioethanol and other bioproducts using pruning and garden-cleaning wastes.
Short Bio: 

I have a Biotechnology degree from the University of Valencia (UV) and a MSc in Industrial and Environmental Biotechnology from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). I performed my Final Master Project about “Directed evolution of penicillin Vacylase of Streptomyces lavendulae and aculeacine acylase of Actinoplanes utahensis".

I also carried out an internship in Biopolis S.L. (Paterna, Valencia) in 2015, where I studied the production of bioproducts and bioenergy. Later, in 2016, I worked in a project management consulting called Contactica S.L. (Madrid), collaborating in the writing of proposals for Horizon 2020 european projects. I also did an internship in Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas (CIB-CSIC, Madrid), where I performed an experiment about microorganism encapsulation in natural hydrophobic biopolymers. I joined Biotechnological Processes Unit at the IMDEA Energy Institute as researcher in training on February 2017. I am predoctoral resercher in the same unit since January 2018.
