New materials based on porous MOFs and conductive polymers for energy storage
Giacomo Armani holds a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Trieste (Italy), obtained in 2011. His Final Project is entitled “Pd complexes with nitrogenous ligands as potential precursors for copolymerization reactions”.
In 2012-2014 carried out his Master Degree in Chemistry, curriculum “Nanostructured and supramolecular systems” at the same university, and lived during this time a six months Erasmus period at University Rovira i Virgili of Tarragona (Spain).
Once back in Italy, he completed MSc with the thesis on “NOx and SOx abatement by combined technology: catalysis - absorption”.
He obtained an 18 months contract in the Quality Assurance Department of an Italian iron & steel industry, Ferriere Nord – Pittini Group.
In October 2017, he joined the Advanced Porous Materials unit of IMDEA Energy as researcher in training.
