Noelia Carmen Peral
Noelia Peral obtained her BSc in Chemistry from the Autónoma University of Madrid (UAM) in 2013. She performed an internship in the of Chemistry and Environmental Department of the Criminalistics Service of the Guardia Civil , using different techniques such as ICP-OES, AAS, DRX, FTIR, GRIM and LA-ICP-MS.
In 2014, she got her MSc in Quality and Safety in the Food Industry, carrying out her internship in the Food Quality Department of Ahorramás. In addition, she got a Technical Higher Education on Cycle of Analysis and Quality Control Laboratory, completing her education with an internship at the CSIC-CIAL, being her main task to analyze pectin samples by CG-FID.
In 2017, she worked at the Research Support Center of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Alcalá de Henares (UAH), analyzing drugs by HPLC (FLD and DAD detector) and metals by ICP-OES and ASS. Besides, she collaborated in the implementation a quality control system according to certification ISO 9001.
Later, she joint IMDEA AGUA Foundation in 2018 as a technician, being her main activities to analyze drugs in groundwater wastewater using LC-MS / MS and quantified organic acids amount in water by HPLC (IR and UV-Vis detector) and nutrients throughout UV-Visible spectrophotometer.
In 2020, she worked in Normon pharmaceutical company, specifically in department of the New Methods. During her performance, she applied their knowledge on HPCL equipped with a DAD detector to determine several drugs. Furthermore, she also validated different analytical methods and participated in documentation about a GMP environment.
Since June 2021, she works as Laboratory Technician at the Advanced Porous Materials Unit of the IMDEA Energy Foundation, performing the synthesis and characterization of materials applied for purification of fresh water.
