Short Bio: 

Paula Nuño Ortega got a Dual Higher Degree Training Cycle of Analysis and Quality Control Laboratory at the Virgen de la Paloma Institute in Madrid in 2016. She completed her Project in 2018 at the Repsol Technology Center on the Application of the ASTM standard 1421 to assess the state of infrared spectrometers in a laboratory.

Professionally, she has performed an internship at the Repsol Technology Center as a laboratory analyst in the Inorganic Chemistry department (Experimentation Area). In 2018, she joined the Analytical Technical Services department at Normon as a Laboratory Analyst. Then (Dec. 2018-Feb. 2020), she worked in the ATD Polyolefins Department at the Repsol Technology Center as a technical specialist for instrumental analysis and physical testing, where she addressed the characterization of polyolefins with different instrumental techniques and physical analyses. In parallel, she studies the Degree in Chemistry through a distance university (U.N.E.D.)

Since February 2021, she has joined the Advanced Porous Materials Unit of the IMDEA Energy Foundation as Laboratory Technician, working on the synthesis and characterization of different materials.
