Rubén Serrano

Researcher in Training
Novel ionic conducting MOFs for fuel cell devices
Short Bio:

Rubén Serrano got a BSc in Chemistry from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) in 2020. His final BSc degree entitled "Materials for clean energy storage based on Porous Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs)" was carried out at the Advanced Porous Materials Unit (APMU) in IMDEA Energy Institute along with the Department of Inorganic Chemistry I (UCM).

In 2020, he started his MSc in Chemical Science and Technologies at the UCM, where he developed his final MSc work entitled "New electro/photoactive MOFs: synthesis, characterization and properties" at the APMU of the Institute IMDEA Energy.

In April 2021, he has joint the APMU at IMDEA Energy Institute as training researcher with the aim to develop new ionic conducting MOFs as exchange membranes in for fuel cells.
