Sabrina Berling obtained a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Oldenburg (Germany). Afterwards she completed the Master in Engineering Physics in 2017 at the same university. Her final project “Electrochemical characterization of electrolytes for an iron-iron(III)oxide hydroxide battery” was carried out in the group of Energy Storage Technologies in the Institute of Physics. During her studies she worked as a research assistant in the department of Ultrafast Nano Optics and later in the Energy and Semiconductor Research Laboratory in the University of Oldenburg. Within her Master’s programme she studied at the University of Zaragoza as an exchange student and did an internship in the Laboratory of Research in Fluid Dynamics and Combustion Technologies (LIFTEC-CSIC). In January 2019 she joined the Electrochemical Processes Unit of IMDEA Energy as a predoctoral researcher.
